This week's program features lots of new releases in varied genres in addition to another track from the Larks' Tongues In Aspic (The Complete Recording Sessions) 50th Anniversary release. LTIA has always been one of my favorite KC albums and now even more so with the new Steven Wilson and old David Singleton mixes. It only made sense to precede that track with a new take on the KC classic, "Starless" from Crimson alumnus, David Cross from his latest, "Ice Blue, Silver Sky".

Well...in October I was back in Connecticut for my 50th high school reunion and on the way back I had to make my quarterly pilgrimage to the Princeton Record Exchange and load up, thus the title of today's program, an inquiry from my wife.
I was thrilled to find a bunch of CDs released on Foster Reed's wonderful New Albion label. I've never been a completist about any label or artist, but I've been making a concerted effort to obtain the New Albion catalog due to their consistent high quality in terms of performances, composers and recording quality. It's a fascinating look at how the briefest of melodies can be interpreted and re-interpreted in order to take on the melody from different perspectives.
In addition, we'll check out new releases from William Susman, Homebrewed Universe, The Owl, Joseph Bohgian and the Thin Edge New Music New Music Collective w/ Linda Caitlin Smith together w/ some older goodies.

So, I'm in my car listening to Graham Fitkin's wonderful 2017 release, "Veneer", which explores, per GF, "the twisted moral fragility of our current celebrity-icon-tumbling era".
As the track, "I'm Such A Shallow Person" is displayed on the digital readout, I start to think that a show featuring tunes concerning flawed human character traits and/or behaviors might be an interesting. Here it is. I hope you do too!
