Greetings!
Using Teiku's new self-titled 577 Record release as a springboard (in which the ensemble interprets Ukrainian Passover melodies in the jazz tradition of Creative Music), I wondered if I could cobble a Passover oriented set with music I had in my own collection.  The fruits of such an endeavor inhabits Phase One.
In Phase Two, I wanted to focus on the incredible musicianship of guitarist/pianist Kevin Kastning and his improvisational pairings with diverse musicians from around the globe.

This week's program focuses on bands that will be playing on the 2024 edition of Cruise To The Edge, a progressive rock experience at sea. The eighth CTTE voyage will set sail from Miami, Florida on March 8th with yours truly aboard, making our way to Cozumel, Mexico.  Headliners include Marillion, Steve Hacket, Flying Colors & Big Big Train, accompanied by returning acts Adrian Belew, Martin Barre, The Flower Kings, Haken, Protocol, Queensrÿche, Airbag, Baraka, Klone, and Wishbone Ash. There will be a number of newcomers as well including Gryphon, Lonely Robot, Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin as well as Symphony X.   To say I'm psyched is an understatement, so I've crammed as many artists into today's show as I could.
