11-18-23 Pushing The Envelope: Music Decidedly Left of Center

Greetings!

Lots of cool things this week with a focus on Ian Power's new release, "Ave Maria: Variations on a Theme by Giacinto Scelsi" which I felt could not be done justice by only playing a portion of it.  It's a fascinating look at how the briefest of melodies can be interpreted and re-interpreted in order to take on the melody from different perspectives.  

In addition, we'll check out new releases from William Susman, Homebrewed Universe, The Owl, Joseph Bohgian and the Thin Edge New Music New Music Collective w/ Linda Caitlin Smith together w/ some older goodies.
