On this week's program, we pay tribute to the pre-eminent tabla virtuoso of our time, Zakir Hussain, who passed away on December 15th of last year. He was appreciated both in the field of percussion and in the music world at large as an international phenomenon and one of the world’s most esteemed and influential musicians.
